About me

Stefania is an Accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP). She holds a Diploma and Honours Degree in counselling and psychotherapy from IICP College. She offers in-person psychotherapy in Dublin. Stefania approached Yoga in 1999 and she earned her qualification as a Yoga teacher in 2011. She holds the certification in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Hot Yoga and Mandala Yoga. She qualified as Life Coach and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner) in 2016 in IPPS. She also holds a high school diploma in Socio-Humanistic studies which includes the study of Western Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology.

My story

Stefania has always been fascinated by philosophy, first western and then eastern. This led her to travel and explore the ancient discipline of Yoga in her teens. She became a teacher after 11 years of personal practice. Since 2011, she has been teaching Yoga and organises workshops in Italy and Ireland. She also works for the corporate sector, using Life coaching skills to facilitate the professional growth of people and their business. 
 
Stefania is deeply passionate about people’s personal development and the connection between body and mind. Her mission is to bring together the Therapeutic approaches of the East and the West. Through her intensive work with people in Yoga, Coaching and Therapy she identified how often clients´ bodies can hold emotions and pain. This has led her to be curious and to deep dive in the personal study of body-psychotherapy and yoga-psychotherapy. 
 
Stefania defines herself to be an inner-explorer. She commits to a continuous self-development training in order to ensure a safe space for her clients.

My approach

The difficulties in life can challenge us in many different ways (trauma, grief, anxiety, stress, illness, loss). Sometimes it can be hard to find a way to conceptualise the pain we are in. The exploration of the body-mind connection can help us to understand our inner roadblock, self sabotage mechanisms and old patterns this will unleash our inner power. It is through our bodies that we identify and interpret sensations, feelings from both our internal and external worlds. The body and the mind are not separate and incorporating the body in the therapeutic process can lead to a complete healing experience. 

My approach is to facilitate the holistic journey of the self which includes the body, mind and breath.

Stefania uses an integrative approach to therapy, working mainly from a person-centred and Body Psychotherapy angle, while also integrating other approaches like Choice Theory, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP),  Existential Therapy, Logotherapy, Multicultural Therapy, Yoga and Mindfulness techniques.
