Hi,
I am Stefania and I am an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP). I hold a Diploma and Honours Degree in counselling and psychotherapy from IICP College. I offer online and in-person psychotherapy sessions in Dublin.
My passion for self development started in my teens. I approached Yoga in 1999 and became a Yoga teacher after eleven years of dedicated Yoga practice. I hold the certification in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Hot Yoga and Mandala Yoga. I qualified as Life Coach and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner) in 2016 in IPPS. I also holds a high school diploma in Socio-Humanistic studies which includes the study of Western Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology.
My story
I started to explore the ancient discipline of Yoga in my teen. I became a teacher after 11 years of personal practice. Since 2011, I have been teaching Yoga in different studios in Ireland and I also have been organising workshops in Italy and Ireland.
I also work for the corporate sector as a wellness counsellor, delivering workshops on self-development and wellness activities.
I am an inner-explorer. I love reading, learning and growing. I commit to a continuous self-development training in order to ensure a safe space for the people I work with.

The difficulties in life can challenge us in many different ways (trauma, grief, anxiety, stress, illness, loss). Sometimes it can be hard to find a way to conceptualise the pain we are in. The exploration of the body-mind connection can help us to understand our inner roadblock, self sabotage mechanisms and old patterns this will unleash our inner power. It is through our bodies that we identify and interpret sensations, feelings from both our internal and external worlds. The body and the mind are not separate and incorporating the body in the therapeutic process can lead to a complete healing experience.
My approach is to facilitate the holistic journey of the self which includes the body, mind and breath.
Stefania uses an integrative approach to therapy, working mainly from a person-centred and Body Psychotherapy angle, while also integrating other approaches like Choice Theory, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Existential Therapy, Logotherapy, Multicultural Therapy, Yoga and Mindfulness techniques.
